Two outstanding artists - Vladi Ampov - Graf and Vesko Eshkenazi, create beauty and harmony in their common song "Vanilla". The video has already been uploaded to Monte Music's official YouTube channel and takes us to the atmosphere of Amsterdam, where Grafa, Vesko Eshkenazi and actress Boryana Manoilova tell a beautiful romantic story.
"The song "Vanilla" has a long history," Graf reveals and continues, "I wrote the melody when I was 17, the lyrics came 9 years later. "Vanilla" is very special for me, I included it in my program for the concert at Arena Armeec, adding a new musical part with the development of the vocal line. Performing it in front of an audience of 14,000, I felt the impact it had on the fans and the strong emotion that flowed from it.
When Vesko Eshkenazi and I decided to do a song together, I heard in my mind his violin playing the theme of "Vanilla" and I knew it would sound fabulous if we recorded it together. I wanted my voice and Vesko Eshkenazi's violin to be in constant dialogue, and I wrote his part so that they complemented each other and the arrangement enveloped and elevated them. I experimented with sounds, different guitar parts, filtered strum section, vocoders and spatial sound design. It turned out magical and filmic.
Intuition led me to the right choice of director for Vanilla. Vasil Stefanov and Stefka Nikolova chose Amsterdam as a natural backdrop and created a beautiful video production starring the extremely talented actress Boryana Manoilova."
The virtuoso violinist Vesko Eshkenazi modestly says about his participation in Vanilla: "I am very proud to be part of this exciting project. There were times when we were not sure we would be able to make it happen in these complicated times. However, during the filming in Amsterdam, I realised that the beautiful musical 'Vanilla', would get the visual it deserved. The directing team did a brilliant job, and I am happy to be part of all the magic that 'Vanilla' holds."
For the creation of the video to the song production company Monte Music again partnered with Xiaomi Bulgaria, which is completely expected since since the beginning of the year Vladi Apmov - Grafa is their face for Bulgaria. In scenes from the video we see some of the brand's latest products - Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone, Redmi Buds 3 Pro wireless headphones and Mi TV P1 series TV.
