Two exceptional artists combine their talents to create a song that sounds modern and carries deep emotion.
The musical idea for the duet came from Graf, who created the beat and part of the melody while finishing his new album. Inspired by Dara Ekimova's unique handwriting, he invited her to join the project and she composed her own verse. The two write the lyrics together, turning it into a true musical dialogue.
"I am a fan of Dara Ekimova. I like the depth and emotionality of her voice and music. When an artist is sincere and genuine, you can't help but be moved strongly. Dara is also a great songwriter, with a flair for catchy tunes and a clear vision for her development. Working with her on "Not a Moment" was extremely easy and inspiring. It was a synergy between us as songwriters, which is why the song sounds so beautiful!" says Graf.
"I am honored to be a part of this beautiful song with Graf. When he invited me to the studio, I went in with no expectations, but I felt inside that I really wanted it to work. And lo and behold - I can boldly say that this duet is one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. Graf is a true inspiration - an innovator, a great songwriter who is never afraid to experiment with his sound. And most of all - an extraordinary person" - says Dara Ekimova.
Musically, "Not a Moment" is in step with global pop trends for 2025 - with deep and solid bass lines, spacey synth melodies and modern production typical of Graf's style.
The video for the song, shot by Chris Zahariev, complements the emotional message of "Not a Moment". "The video represents a parallel search for self, inspired by the films of the beginning of the new millennium. That's why we relied on a retro aesthetic - old TV sets, remote controls and analogue cameras that recreate the spirit of that time," says the director.
"Not a Moment" is not just a duet, but a meeting of two generations in Bulgarian pop music, which proves that when artists with vision and character come together, the result is something really special.
