When we talk about a Bulgarian hitmaker, the first name that comes to mind is undoubtedly that of Vladi Ampov - Grafa. Recognition of his talent also came from the Czech Republic, where the song "Moments" was given a new life by two of the most popular singers there - Jan Bending and Monika Bagarova. The Czech version of the song is called "Grad" (City)and the idea to turn it into a single is the producers of the reality TV series "Prague - Day and Night", who came to its authors with the assistance of the Bulgarian producer Krasi Vankov.
Very often directors and film producers trust Vladi Ampov and the title songs of Bulgarian series become "Sun in your eyes" ["Sea Salt"], "Moments" ["Sofia - day and night"], "Neighborhood gentlemen" ["The cops from the end of the city"], "Tomorrow again" ["Don't think of me"].
"Moments" is a song from Graf's super successful album of the same name, which received the award for Best Album of 2016. It became a hit in our homeland, and to this day fans sing it from start to finish at their favorite artist's concerts.
Vladi Ampov readily responds to the request to adapt Moments into a Czech version, and the other author of the text, Ilia Grigorov, agrees without hesitation. Thus was born "Město" (Town), which has been gaining popularity in the Czech Republic for 2 months now. Jan Bending and Monika Bagarova, the Czech superstars who perform it, say that the song is very beautiful and believe that it will appeal to their fans. The new version of "Moments" sounds fresh and warm, which is why it is already a favourite of many fans in the Czech Republic.
Vladi Ampov - Grafa, besides being a brilliant singer and performer, is the most productive Bulgarian composer in recent decades. There is hardly a Bulgarian who hasn't heard "I give everything for you", "I want you", "Stolen love", "If there is a paradise", "Invisible", "Smoke to me gone", "Drama Queen", "Yes", "You shine", "Tomorrow again" and dozens more favourite hits performed by Grafa. Just a few days ago, Grafa returned from a tour in Blagoevgrad, Svilengrad and Smolyan, where he again gave his fans strong musical emotions with his magical vocal performances, accompanied by guitar and piano.
