The brightest representatives of the Bulgarian show business honored Vladi Ampov - Graf at the presentation of his new album "Vecovna Gora". The event took place in the Sofia club PM and brought together singers, actors, journalists and top fans of the most beloved Bulgarian pop singer. Among the guests we noticed Mihaela Fileva, Maria Ilieva, Moletz, Polly Genova, Evgeni Genchev, Borislav Boyadzhiev - Borche, Elena Petrova, Yavor Gardev, Romina Tasevska, Nikki Kanchev, Stefan Shterev, Krasi Kurtev and Dundee from Akaga, Tino, Nika, Sanya Armutlieva, Santra, Lyubomir Kovachev, Jeremy, Sasho Obretenov, Ventsy Trifonov and many others.
The long-awaited album "Vekovna Gora" was presented to the guests of the premiere personally by Graf, and all eyes were directed to a documentary film, a sincere account of its creation, directed by Svilen Slavov. This was followed by the presentation of each of the 16 songs, each with its own personality and message. The audience enjoyed Vladi Ampov's new production and appreciated its high quality, emotional depth and strong impact.
In the album we find 8 new songs - 5 of them solo and 3 interesting duets. There are also the hits "Chimera", "You Shine", "Tomorrow Again" in original and acoustic versions, the title track featuring "Mystery of Bulgarian Voices", "Vanilla" with the virtuoso violin of Vesko Eshkenazi and "Prime Time" with WOSH MC and FeeL.
The three new collaborations included on the album are very impressive. Guests at the special event watched for the first time the video of "Alibi", a duet with NICKA, directed by Dimitris Georgiev, and the more attentive noticed the appearance of Tino at the end of the video. It's been speculated that their collaborative song from the album, "Fiasco" will also have a video soon. The young Lydia Ganeva is the singer in the third new duet - "2:00 AM" and also gives a bid for a future hit.
Innovative, bold, but also with Graf's trademark - sensual, with deep, encoded in the lyrics and music messages are the compositions in the new album. The author of the music is traditionally Grafa, in the song "2:00 AM" he partners with Veselin Tsenov - Algoriddim. The lyrics are original, and he co-wrote with Rachel Rowe ("2:00 AM") and NDOE ("Tomorrow Again" and "Universe"). Guest writers include Kiril Ampov ("Sin" and "Will You Sweat"), Ivan Langev ("Hello and Bring") and Svilen Noev ("More Than Joy"). It is an absolute personal achievement that the guitars throughout the album were played personally by Vladi Ampov. He worked on the mixing with Dimitar Ganchev and the mastering was done by Grammy winner Dave Kutch.
This year is shaping up to be the strongest in the musical journey of Graf, who keeps conquering higher and higher peaks. All of Bulgaria is already excited for the biggest and most spectacular native music event of the year - Vladi Ampov's concert at the Vasil Levski National Stadium. It will take place on September 30, and the interest in it is constantly growing.
