The gala screening of the first Bulgarian concert film "Dreams Come True" caused a real furore

The surprising for Bulgaria format captivates with the emotional gradation that takes the viewers through the two structural parts of the film production - the preparation and the concert of Vladi Ampov - Graf at Vasil Levski Stadium.

This weekend (15-17 March), will be the premiere of the first Bulgarian musical feature film "Dreams Come True", created during the preparation and realization of the biggest Bulgarian event in pop music - the concert of Graf at the National Palace "Vasil Levski" (30 September 2023), realized with the support of ProCredit Bank. Among the special guests at its gala screening were the performers Maria Ilieva, Mihaela Fileva, Tino, Blagoslav Anastassov (Hayes & Y), the actors Dani Angelov, Anton Poryazov and Pavel Vladimirov, the writer Ivan Langev, journalists, representatives of the film industry and celebrities.

The beginning of the film is highly emotional and evocative, introducing us in an interesting and entertaining way into the history of the preparations for the grand concert. With his bold and unconventional decisions, director Svilen Slavov immerses us in the tension of the organisation. The viewer stands side by side with Vladi Ampov - Graf and his team, gets excited and empathizes with every step until the day of the event. Slavov allows himself to bring a narrative element into the documentary narrative, which is a surprise for everyone, but becomes a key factor contributing to the gradation of emotions. The work of cinematographer Viktor Dobrev also deserves attention, as he impresses with the cinematic way of shooting, typical of most Western European productions.

After all the emotions experienced around the organization, the viewer can't wait to enjoy the outcome. From here, Vito Bonev, the director of the concert part of the production, takes control. Over 20 cameras capture the scale and all the key elements of the show - the emotion of Graf and his musicians during the performances, the dedication and love of the audience, the multimedia set design, the dancers, the pyro effects, the general euphoria. The large cinema screen allows even those who saw the concert live to relive it and see it from a different angle. The feeling is a contrast to the tension of the first part of the film. There is no trace of anxiety, only brilliance and delight for the senses.

Sound engineer Boyan Kovatchev and the Zoom Studio team are behind the preparation of the sound in 5+1 format, achieving optimal quality that deservedly brings forward the tremendous work and talent of Vladi Ampov and his musicians.

"Dreams Come True" is a film-concert that deserves to be seen on the big screen, it brings an incredible emotional charge, a sense of pride, satisfaction and joy to the viewer. Screenings of "Dreams Come True" start on March 15 in selected cinemas in Sofia, Varna, Ruse, Burgas, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Stara Zagora, Vidin, Vratsa, Pleven, Smolyan, Haskovo, Svilengrad, Kardzhali and others, distributed by Pro Films.
